    Best greens to give bunny?

Sometimes winging it is the best way to learn. Experience csn often be the best teacher at times. :)

Anyone have any issues with use of Cisapride (Prepuside)

Hey Ree, Wow 7 and half. That is a great age for Chocolate. ♥. Malibu is doing quite well at the moment. He is such a fiercely independent spirit, that he has accepted Amaretto's departure a bit better than I have, I think. He still likes to free roam outside his run and I am looking at...

Cecotrope catastrophy please help, and meet my new bun (:ny

She will learn quickly. They actually look like small grapes and don't smell offensive.....unlike cat and dog poo. I call them their "special poo" lol

    GI Stasis/Ileus weekly/bi-weekly

The anti inflammatory pain killers (it sounds like what that is) should help....but I highly recommend intervening if you can and try syringe feeding the critical care as well. Gentle tummy rubs are good too, though as you said before she may not allow this. It is a thing that a lot of buns...

    GI Stasis/Ileus weekly/bi-weekly

Have you got some critical care to start syringe feeding to keep her going until you see the vet again? Oxbow make a good powder mix that you can reconstitute in water and syringe feed and I have saved a couple of buns from complete stasis with it. Are their any vegetables that this rabbit...

    4 H bunnies

I live in Australia and have never heard of 4 H or whatever it is called. So it all sounds a little confusing to me. But I certainly know that bunnies have feelings :)

    Goodbye my Giant Girl

So so sorry for your loss. Our buns really leave a hole in our heart when they leave us. Until we are reunited again at the bridge. ♥

    High lymphocyte count in bunny

I haven't, but hope your girl is OK. Immune system is obviously coping with something. Keep us posted.

I apologize to all of my rabbits and especially to you, my fierce little angel

Sorry for your loss. Don't beat yourself up too much. I know it is easier to say than do, as I find. We all make mistakes and all mostly start off not knowing much about rabbits or how to care for them. I know that was certainly true in my case. I had no idea. But you learn from your...

    Best greens to give bunny?

Sorry didn't mean to scare you. ♥ it is just a good reminder for all us rabbit parents to remember. But also remember it does take time....to build up. I learned the hard way. Had an old rabbit with bladder sludge with very white urine. Lots of vet expenses. She pulled through it, only to have...

Anybody else with a picky rabbit?

My Kahlua is FUSSY not only about what vegetables he eats but also VERY fussy about what sort of fresh grass he eats. Has to be a certain type of tall Rye grass or won't touch it, even though it it is freshly picked.

    Best greens to give bunny?

That sounds great. From my personal experience as an bunny mum and from discussions with my rabbit savvy vet, it can only be after continued high intake of the course of a few weeks or other signs like urine turning white. This excludes young rabbits (up to about a year) and pregnant rabbits...

    Best greens to give bunny?

Watch the calcium level tho. Remember parsley, dandelion greens, rocket, clover very high in calcium. Too high in calcium, can cause renal failure and death.

    Sick bunny? Bloated?

Keep syringe feeding too. Do u have any critical care? Otherwise ground up pellets. Massage gently and keep that gut moving. G.I stasis is a horrible thing.

Anyone have any issues with use of Cisapride (Prepuside)

Good thoughts there. Interesting that one of your furbabies is able to tolerate the Cisapride and does a world of good for them and the other was potentially going to be a major problem. Just shows how different how furbabies can react to medications, just as us humans can. Malibu, is...

Does cisapride need to be refrigerated?

P.s- I have and use Meloxicam. Don't refrigerate that. But I would go by what the bottle/pharmacist says... .not the vet.
