    White Urine?

The white urine is from too much calcium in the diet. Short term it is no problem. Long term, can cause bladder sludge, renal or kidney failure and lead to death. If it continues for a while, may be worth looking at diet and feeding lower calcium choices. Only pregnant fe

Anyone have any issues with use of Cisapride (Prepuside)

The buns definitely DO RULE the roost even though the cats like to think they do. The Reno's are going to cost me around a grand....or more....but will ease my mind as to Malibu safety regarding free roaming in a larger enclosed environment. So worth it for peace of mind. Will upload photos as...

Not sure about the USA. Do you even have those viruses over there???? The government uses them here to control wild rabbits as rabbits are NOT NATIVE to Australia. Introduced here by the British in the 1800s during settlement (along with foxes) (which the state I live in Tasmania, doesn't have...

    THUMPING????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My female doe Cointreau free roams in the kitchen. She is basically litter trained apart from a few territorial pellets to mark the hallway doorway (and occasional wee.....grrr) where my buck Kahlua lives. I am trying to bond them together in neutral territory. It is a slow process. She is...

    Which would you buy

Have you thought of bunny proofing a room or part of your house for her? There are some good suggestions on certain sites about how to do with regards to baseboards, electrical cords, baby gates etc etc. Just a thought.

    Not eating after spay!!

Have you got oxbow critical care or some pellets you can crush and syringe feed with water? Vet visit asap. Stasis and not eating can be fatal. Get some critical care on hand (comes in powdered form) just in case for future. Great stuff. Have saved a few buns and g.pigs from the dreaded...

Things I have learned as a bunny mum in 12+ years

My Mom Wants Me to breed my rabbit

Reproduction does not lead to cancer. Having an unspayed doe over age a year can lead to increasing female cancer risks by 80-85% by some veterinary sources.

Is it time to give up?

Any updates on how your girl is? I had a bun over a year ago who I had spent a fortune on with blood cultures, anti-biotics, vet visits etc. In the end they weren't working and I sadly had to end her suffering at age 10. Binky free Shimma.
